Abstract photography

The not appreciated motive ... appreciated

Art has always been about finding beauty in things that others never noticed. My art photography is about small details of our everyday’s life.

This photography is 1/8 part of a Czech water bottle bottom I photographed while I was working in Prague.

The photo was taken in the winter 1997, when I lived and worked in Rüdersdorf (the earlier east of Germany) and Prague. My photosfrom Rüdersdorf were made at the industrial area, which earlier was the biggest in Europe. In Prague followed the footsteps of the famous photographer, Josef Sudek. His old motives and favourite places were this time photographed and seen with my eyes.

I spent the late winter hours at my little desk in the art academy college. The rays of the desk lamp bouncing at the bottle help to make the whole new images as I studied them with my camera. Here (<)is the result of it the art that came from spending a cold night in Prague.

The quality of the photography is not perfect because of the scanning.
